To All St. P's CYO Families,

We hope you had a great Thanksgiving break enjoying your family and friends! We would like to express our deep gratitude and appreciation to all of you for your generosity and kindness in our first ever Thanksgiving Food Drive for Shelter, Inc.  Thanks to you, it was a great success!  Together, our entire St. P's CYO basketball community single-handedly:

  • FED NEARLY 150 FAMILIES IN NEED
  • PROVIDED A COMPLETE THANKSGIVING DINNER TO OVER 430 MEN, WOMEN AND CHILDREN IN OUR EAST BAY COMMUNITY
  • DONATED OVER 1,500 FOOD ITEMS
  • FILLED OVER 200 SHOPPING BAGS OF FOOD
  • CONTRIBUTED $700 IN SAFEWAY GIFT CARDS FOR FAMILIES TO BUY FRESH TURKEYS, PRODUCE AND PERISHABLE ITEMS

To all of you who are a part of this great community, you should feel great pride in the great things that you do on the court and ESPECIALLY off the court! We hope you will continue to support the clients of Shelter Inc. throughout the rest of this basketball season. We have a lot of great volunteer opportunities planned and we cannot do it without your generosity and willingness to help.  Thank you again for your amazing effort with the Thanksgiving Food Drive.

“There is no greater calling than to serve your fellow men. There is no greater contribution than to help the weak. There is no greater satisfaction than to have done it well.”

With Gratitude,

The St. Perpetua CYO Board
